MK Control by Markobi

After years of research and real-world use (and after requests from hundreds of magicians, both online and in person), Markobi presents the MK Control (Markobi Control): an extremely precise and multifunctional card control — rough and raw behind the scenes, yet velvet lace in the spectator’s experience.

The MK Control allows you to control one or several cards to the top, to the bottom, to any given position, and even perform simultaneous multiple controls (one part to the top or to a specific position, the other to the bottom or another position).

Originally, the MK Control was born from an accident: Markobi was trying to reproduce a control by Ernest Earick after seeing Meven Dumontier perform it on video. The final result bore no resemblance to the original technique — but a new path had quietly opened for the future without him realizing it.

First used in hundreds of videos and praised by magicians in the comments, Markobi initially believed the control was too delicate for real-world conditions. With time and experience, he realized it worked — eventually integrating it into his everyday professional Swiss-army-knife toolkit.
