More and more, I find myself surprised by the current state of the art in Mentalism, not always in a good way. Artistically—and, let’s be honest, humanly—it often feels as though something essential has been lost.

Likewise, Kenton’s treatment of Which Hand?, also explored in his Visual Education Intensive, is nothing short of inspired. It demonstrates that meaning can become a method in itself.

There are countless other insights from Making Mystery that deserve conversation, but I would rather keep this review simple.
